A 9-year-old boy in California had a narrow escape when the bounce house he was playing in was carried off by strong winds.
The bounce house landed on a highway while the boy was in it, and was hit by a vehicle. According to reports in UPI, as the inflatable structure landed on highway 395, a vehicle rammed it after the driver was caught unawares. Fortunately, the boy managed to roll out of the bounce house safely after the mishap.
The Victor Valley Sheriff's Station in San Bernardino County said the boy was inside the bounce house when it blown away out of the Adelanto home's yard by strong wind. The boy was treated for minor injuries while the driver of the vehicle was 'shook up' but uninjured, the sheriff's station added.
