At least five suspected militants were killed in a US drone attack in Khyber Agency, a tribal region along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border, official sources said on Saturday.
According to Fata political administration, an unmanned aircraft fired two missiles which hit a boat in Kabul River inside Pakistan’s territory of Khyber Agency on Saturday.
Five suspects were killed in the Saturday attack. However, their identification could not be confirmed so far.
This was a unique strike when a CIA-run drone targeted a boat, as in the past drones targeted compounds and vehicles used by suspects.
