Hair loss is a global concern that is no longer limited to the elderly population. Many young people too suffer from scalp and hair issues, which is why it is never too late to opt for effective solutions.
Leading a rich legacy of hair care products since 1908, Kaminomoto is a time-tested brand that promises to strengthen and restore luscious tresses. The products are distributed across India, UAE and other countries in the Middle East by Japan Emirates Trading, which has been operating from its base in Sharjah since 2003.
"We deal with only niche products from Japan, notably Kaminomoto, a premium international brand that offers a specialised blend of ingredients derived from nature," said Dr Azmet Merchant, Managing Director of Japan Emirates Trading.
Kaminomoto roughly translates to "the essence of hair", as the brand is deeply involved in research to create formulas that provide effective hair solutions. "It combines research with traditional Japanese medicine to make products that promote hair growth, stop hair loss and deal with scalp issues. What makes it stand out is that it uses specific ingredients like Masaki, Kamigen E and K, CS Base, etc. from Japanese medicinal plants that are internationally registered by the Kaminomoto brand," she said.
This means that each plant-based ingredient is exclusive to the brand, and is considered natural product with no side effects. Dr Merchant added that the Kaminomoto range is suitable for men and women of varying scalp and hair issues. Furthermore, it is perfectly aligned with the humid climate of the UAE.
"The Kaminomoto Hair Growth Tonic, in particular, is a time-tested product designed to cure dandruff. The tonic works on the hair matrix, is odourless, oil-free and gets absorbed into the scalp within five minutes. It is also convenient for the Arab population (in the UAE) who wear head covering, as it does not stain clothing," Dr Merchant said, adding that the tonic leaves hair revived. In addition, it proves to be ideal for those suffering from hormonal changes. It is also safe to use on pregnant and lactating women.
Another premium product is the Kaminomoto Trigger Hair Growth Accelerator infused with a Japanese plant extract, Masaki, which adds moisture back into the hair. The Kaminomoto Hair Growth Accelerator II, on the other hand, contains antiseptic properties that stop hair fall, promote regrowth and helps clear oily and itchy scalp. Kaminomoto Mild Shampoo and Conditioner contain a one-of-a-kind pH balanced formula that is anti-static and activate keratin to make hair stronger.
"The brand has survived over 100 years by delivering what they promise. Kaminomoto goes straight to the root of your hair, and that is the tagline it has stood by for over 100 years," Dr Merchant said.
Kaminomoto collection of hair care products are available in pharmacies across the UAE.
