A robber in China attempted a daring escape and climbed out of the window on the 23rd floor when cops came knocking at his door. A frightening video of the man hanging out of the window about 60 meters above the ground, went viral on Chinese social media platforms.  
The incident occurred on March 24, when the unnamed man robbed a shop owner in Hunan city of Yiyang, brandishing a knife, and made away with his bank card and 10,000 yuan in cash. After the robbery was reported to police, it led them to the man's apartment building in nearby Ningxiang county.
According to reports in Shanghaiist, when police broke open the door of the man's flat and barged inside, he climbed out of the window at 23rd to escape arrest. 
However, after endangering his life to avoid arrest, police managed to pull the man back through the window before taking him away.
