MUSCAT - All government offices in Oman will remain closed on Saturday and Sunday to mark Milad Al Nabi, the birthday of Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), according to an announcement here by Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal bin Saud Al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court and Chairman of the Civil Service Council.

In a separate statement, Manpower Minister Shaikh Abdullah bin Nasser Al Bakri declared Saturday a holiday for the private sector.

Both ministers wished His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said good health and long life and Omani people further progress and prosperity.
