Speaking to media representatives here, Amin Faheem said that Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaaf’s (PTI) long march on August 14 on Islamabad will not affect the law and order situation in the country.
“God willing, the country will remain stable on August 14,” he added.
The PPP’s central leader said his party will continue its efforts for the stability of democratic process in Pakistan.
He said the PTI had only demanded recount of votes in four constituencies of Lahore, adding that heaven would not have fallen had the government acceded to this demand.
Amin Faheem termed the statement of PPP Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari as based on reality.
He said although the people were not happy with government’s performance, it will have to be ascertained who are pulling the strings of those all set to hold the long march on August 14. — Online
