On display at the three-day ‘Gulf Eco 2010’ are products and services that address the needs of the environment and climate, water and marine, alternative and renewable energy sectors.
Health Affairs Under-secretary at the Ministry of Health Dr Ahmed bin Mohamed Al Saidi inaugurated the fair at the Oman International Exhibition Centre in the presence of several other dignitaries?from the government and private sectors.
A highlight of the exhibition is a day-long ‘Gulf Eco Symposium’ on Tuesday under the theme ‘Sustainability, Climate Change, Water, Renewable Energy and the Future of Communities in the Gulf Region’.
The event will be be opened by Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Muharrani, Director-general of Environmental Affairs from the Ministry of Environment and Climate Affairs.?— ravindranath@khaleejtimes.com
