As per National Database & Registration Authority's (NADRA) instructions, manual booking of National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP) applications, through forms, has been stopped at the Embassy of Pakistan, Abu Dhabi and Consulate General of Pakistan, Dubai.
According to a release issued today, from now onwards, visitors will only be able to apply online for NICOP services at the NADRA Section of the Embassy and Consulate. Manual forms will not be accepted anymore.
To further facilitate the overseas Pakistanis, the government has introduced an online facility to apply for NICOP, while sitting at home. Furthermore, the process of Pakistan Origin Card (POC) applications has also been stopped by the Embassy and Consulate. Those wishing to apply for POC processing may do so online through the website.
