Cultural and sports bans - India 
October 2015 - Sudheendra Kulkarni attacked by Sena activists ahead of Kasuri book launch. Sudheendra Kulkarni, who heads the Observer Research Foundation (ORF), was on Oct 12 attacked by Shiv Sena party members, ahead of a book launch of former Pakistan foreign minister Khurshid Mahmud Kasuri being organised by ORF. 
2015 - Ghulam Ali's concert cancelled- Pakistani ghazal singer Ghulam Ali's concert, scheduled to be held in Mumbai on October 9, was on Wednesday cancelled after Shiv Sena threatened to disrupt it. The opposition was predictable. 
2015 -Sports - Kabbadi League Ban of Pakistani players - The Shiv Sena sought the removal of Pakistani players from the Pro Kabaddi League beginning July 18. The Sena led a protest march to the office of television channel Star Sports, organiser of the event, and asked it to refrain from including Pakistani players in the league. 
July 2015 - Screening of Pakistan film cancelled - Pakistani film Bin Roy was not screened in Mahaashtra due to threats by Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS). MNS film wing - Maharashtra Navnirman Chitrapat Karmachari Sena had written to B4U Films objecting to the release and screening of the film in Maharashtra. 
April 2015 - Atif Aslam concert cancelled - Due to strong opposition from the Shiv Sena, Pakistani singer Atif Aslam's concert in Pune, scheduled for April 25, was cancelled. 
2014 - Sena disrupts India-Pak music meet in Mumbai - Shiv Sena workers started protesting during a press meet against Pakistani musicians before the launch of joint album. They stood on chairs with placards and demanded that the Sufi rock band be sent back. 
2012 - Singing reality shows - The Shiv Sena joined along with Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS ) sought a ban on Pakistani artistes' participation in Indian TV shows. 
2010 - Bigg Boss 4 - The Shiv Sena asked the organiser of the show Bigg Boss during the fourth season to evict the Pakistani contestants Veena Malik and Ali Saleem from the show. 
1999 - Ferozshah Kotla pitch being dug - Shiv Sainiks dug up the pitch of the Ferozshah Kotla stadium ahead of Pakistan's cricket tour. However, the match still took place and India's star spinner Anil Kumble set the record of taking ten wickets in an innings.  


Cultural bans - Pakistan 
2015 - Kabir Khan's "Phantom" banned in Pakistan - Saif Ali Khan and Katrina Kaif-starrer movie Phantom did not do well in box office but it created much as controversy when Pakistan court banned the Bollywood movie in the country. 
2015 - Pak Singer Adnan Sami's Visa and notice against him against a song he sung in Bajrangi Bhaijanz. Pakistani singer Adnan Sami has been allowed to stay in India for an indefinite period following his appeal to legalise his stay in India on humanitarian grounds. Lahore-born Sami had first arrived in India on March 13, 2001 on a visitor's visa with the validity of one year which was issued by the Indian High Commission in Islamabad. His visa was extended from time to time. His Pakistani passport issued on May 27, 2010 expired on May 26, 2015 and his passport was not renewed by the Pakistan government which forced him to approach the Indian government with the request to legalise his stay in India on humanitarian grounds.
2015 -After taking notice of what they believe to be copyrights infringement in Adnan Sami's rendition of Bhar Do Jholi in Bajrangi Bhaijaan, EMI Pakistan has now served a legal notice to various stakeholders involved in the song. 
2010 - Banning of the film Tere Bil Laden - This time around, Pakistan banned a Bollywood movie starring their own export to India, singer-actor Ali Zafar. Tere Bin Laden was banned in Pakistan because it dealt with the controversial issue of slain Al-Qaeda head Osama Bin Laden and hit them where it hurts the most. The light-hearted movie was accused of containing vulgar and objectionable dialogues, abuses and derogatory remarks and was also labelled as anti-law enforcing agencies of Pakistan. 
2012 - Khiladi 786 - Akshay Kumar may be the undisputed Khiladi of Bollywood but Pakistan wouldn't buy his Khiladi offerings, especially if presented with number '786'. So when Khiladi 786's poster was launched in Pakistan, it immediately led to the banning of the film because of the religious significance of numerals '786' among Muslims.
