His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, said on Tuesday that the UAE and Egypt stand together firmly against all attempts of interference in the internal affairs of the Arab region.
Sheikh Mohamed said this after a meeting with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi at Cairo International Airport, where the two leaders discussed bilateral relations and key regional and international issues. The leaders were unanimous on the need to unite to safeguard the security and stability of the region.
"The UAE and Egypt are united by a long-standing historical relationship that is steadily gaining strength. We stand together firmly and resolutely against all attempts of interference in the internal affairs of the Arab region," Sheikh Mohamed said on his Twitter account.
