A plane preparing to land at Orlando International Airport was briefly delayed after it spotted an alligator on the runway.
The incident happened on Monday and the pilot made an announcement that an alligator had wandered onto the runway.
A passenger, Anthony Velardi, told WESH he captured a video of the alligator strolling on the runway just as the plane was landing. "Believe it or not there is a gator on the runway and we are waiting for it to cross," the pilot made an announcement to passengers aboard.
According to the WSVN report quoted by UPI, the pilot waited for the alligator to cross the runway and landed only after it found its way into a nearby pond.
