With alligator sightings being common in Florida, US, it doesn't come as a shocker when residents spot one in their neighbourhood.
Recently, a huge alligator made its way to the golf course in Orlando and the golfer was unfazed by the creature strolling around. In a viral video, the golfer is seen concentrating on his game while the alligator passes by casually.
The video was shared by professional wake boarder Steel Lafferty who was playing golf at the Champions Gate Country Club in Orlando when he spotted the alligator, NDTV quoted Fox News reports. Lafferty posted the video on Instagram and wrote: "Golfing in Florida is just different..."
Since being shared online on Thursday, the video has collected over 80,000 views and hundreds of stunned comments. One person wrote: 'Can't decide if that's savage or stupid', while another wrote: 'That's just crazy'.
Lafferty can be seen in the video striking a shot while the alligator sauntered in the background. "I wasn't too worried. I wake board professionally so I'm always in the water and I've kind of been around gators my whole life. There was a bit of a worry, but it seemed like he was doing his own thing so I let him go," NDTV quoted Lafferty as saying in CNN.
