An Arab queen's profound gesture has slowly been making headlines in the region - as she performed Umrah with female orphans this Ramadan.
Queen Rania of Jordan, wife of King Abdullah ll, accompanied a group of orphan girls and women - from different charitable societies in the country - to perform Umrah in Makkah on May 8.
Leaving two days after Ramadan began on May 6, the group will be spending four days in Saudi Arabia, visiting religious sites, according to local media reports.

Photos from the pilgrimage were posted on her official facebook page, while a mobile video of the women at the Grand Mosque went viral on social media.
