Limited proposals contrast sharply with government's broad push

Look before you leap especially if it's a river. But, a man in China just did the opposite and landed up in trouble or rather in the middle of a swollen river. Why? Because he wanted to save 20 yuan (Dh11 approximately) on car wash and drove his Land Rover into a river in southwestern China's Sichuan province.
Unfortunately for the man, the upper dam gates were opened causing the water in the river to flood. Dramatic video of the incident on South China Morning Post shows the white Land Rover submerged in the river as raging waters continue to flow. Luckily, the man managed to get out his car and called the police. He was later rescued by the fire department personnel and so was his Land Rover.
Certainly, next time he will visit a car wash station instead!
