The Saudi teenager who appears in video footage risking his life by jumping in front of a speeding truck has since been detained by the Saudi Traffic Police.
In a statement issued by the Saudi Traffic Police on their social media handle, they state: "The youth who appeared in the video which shows him jumping in front of a speeding truck along a motorway in Madina, putting his life and the life of others in danger, has been arrested. He will be referred to the public prosecution for further processing."

He had asked a friend to film him along a busy highway in Saudi Arabia, reported sources in Arab media.
They had parked a saloon car on the side of the road, and had been filming the youth dancing on the boot of the car to some music.
After spotting the heavy truck, he leapt from the car into the barreling vehicle's path.
The oncoming truck driver even blared his horn in an attempt to warn the youth to get out of the way, who barely dodged the truck in time.
Critics on social media had demanded the youth be found and punished for his reckless behaviour.
