As the Queen celebrated her 90th birthday, a guardsman collapsed during the Trooping the Colour ceremony in London on Saturday. The incident happens a few weeks after another soldier collapsed during the rehearsals for the event in May. The incident took place during the festivities at Horse Guards Parade, when the man fell flat on the ground. He was later stretchered away by the officials. The same incidents have occurred in 2011 and 2013 as well. According to the Mail Online, the temperatures (22 degree Celsius) and heavy uniform coupled with the bearskin hats that soldiers dress in, lead to such incidents. The incident took place before the Queen and other dignitaries arrived at the cathedral for a special thanksgiving service.
