Woman trapped in elevator of billionaire banker's house for three days

She was trapped between the second and the third floors of the house.

A 53-year-old housekeeper working for a billionaire investment banker's family, got trapped in the elevator inside the house for three days. Warren Stephens and his family were away on a trip when their housekeeper, Marites Fortaliza, got stuck in the elevator and was rescued three days later.
The incident occurred on Friday night when Fortaliza was alone in the billionaire's house. She walked into the elevator and got trapped between the second and third floors of the house, situated on the Upper East Side. She was only rescued on Monday when a delivery person contacted the homeowners, NDTV quoted 9 News reports. 
A member of the Stephens family was contacted by the delivery person who in turn called emergency services. Firefighters forced their way into the elevator and found Fortaliza inside the 1x1.2 metre broken elevator, according to BBC. 
After being rescued the housekeeper was admitted to hospital with dehydration but is in a stable condition. Stephens' private investment bank Stephens Inc released a statement on the matter which said: 'The cause of this unfortunate incident is being investigated and appropriate measures will be taken to ensure something like this never happens again'.
