Nawab Sanaullah Zehri will be the new chief minister of Balochistan, the Prime Minister's House announced here on Thursday.
He will replace Dr Abdul Malik, a nationalist, who has completed two and a half years of his tenure since being named as chief minister of the province after the May 2013 election. The decision about the new chief minister was taken at a meeting of all political parties supporting the government. Zehri, who is chief of PML-N, Balochistan, which heads the ruling coalition, will assume charge for the remaining tenure.
