Deadly opening spells by Shafaqat Ali, Salman Khan and Naveed Haider of Seven Seas Strikers stunned recent Al Aqili Cup runners-up Ibsons Cricket Club, bowling them out for a meagre total of 69 runs in 16 overs which Seven Seas Strikers easily rattled off in 16 overs in the 2nd Interface Ramadan Cup 2012 tournament conducted by Dubai Cricket Council at the ICC Global Cricket academy.

Water taxis for tourists to make a big splash

In a bid to boost tourism along the city's waterfront, four water taxi tourist trips to and from Jumeirah Open Beach Station have been launched by the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA). Each trip will last one and a half hours and will cost Dh150 per passenger.
