It was a historic moment on the first day of the Dubai Airshow when Qatar Airways’ chief executive officer announced an order for Boeing’s 50 777X worth $19 billion at a joint news conference.
Dubai Aerospace Enterprise, or DAE, took delivery of three new Boeing 777-200 freighters in 2013, which have been placed under long-term lease agreements with Emirates airline.
