 Four Arab students have been arrested by the Dubai Police allegedly for impersonating police officials and robbing a Chinese national at midnight.
The suspects include a 19-year-old Saudi national, identified as F.N., and three Egyptians -20-year-old A.M., 21-year-old A.T. and 20-year-old A.A.

According to police sources, the students robbed the victim of Dh3,400 on November 3 while he was coming out from a supermarket in International City.
The suspects who were travelling in a car noticed the victim coming out from the shop and three of them stopped him, pretending as police personnel. One of them sat inside the car and showed some ID to the victim. They assaulted the victim and took the money from him, said sources.

Victim lodged a complaint and the police managed to detain the suspects.
They returned the money to the victim and denied the charges. They told the police that one of them assaulted the victim and took the money which fell from his pocket.
