Rain hit several parts of the country on Tuesday morning, causing havoc on the roads as commuters drove at a snail's pace to work.
The National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology on Tuesday morning reported rain in Al Rahba, Khalifa City in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah.
Authorities have urged motorists to drive with caution on slippery roads.
"Please leave enough and safe space between your car and the car in front of you," Dubai Police tweeted.
