Ban on poultry from Hungary

DUBAI — Import of live poultry from Hungary has been temporarily banned until further notice as some birds have been tested H5N1 positive, the virus that causes Avian Flu. A decree to this end has been issued by Dr Mohammed Saeed Al Kindi, Minister of Environment and Water, after receiving information from the International Organisation for Animal Health about the occurrence of Bird Flu in Hungary.
